POSITION
Summary:
The Director of Marketing builds the community's understanding of the YMCA's cause and impact through development and implementation of effective marketing and communications strategies.
The position will direct, manage, coordinate, and lead all the marketing, external communications, and brand compliance for the association.
This position supports the work of the YMCA of Pawtucket, an association of YMCA's that includes Pawtucket Family YMCA, Heritage Park Early Learning Center, MacColl YMCA, Woonsocket YMCA, and Westwood YMCA.
The Director of Marketing is an integral part of the Development and Marketing team, reporting to the Chief Development and Marketing Officer.
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for the development and implementation of an integrated communications strategy that will engage stakeholders, incorporate organizational activities, and promote the Y's mission, cause, and brand.
This position will direct, manage, coordinate, and lead all marketing, external communications, and brand compliance for the association.
This candidate will also provide support in development to advance the Y's mission through fundraising.
This position is on-site and operates out of our YMCA Association Office in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Essential Functions:
Develops and/or oversees the development of all YMCA marketing/communications materials including brochures, program guides, advertising, press releases, support material, videos, website copy, photo stock, digital marketing collateral, etc.
Works with the Association management staff, branch management staff, and outside resources to produce high quality and cost-efficient communications.
Provides leadership in the assessment, evolution and development of market-informed processes, programs and services that support the Association's objectives.
Monitors the execution and effectiveness of marketing communications activities; tracks email, social media, website, PR and paid digital media performance metrics; responsible for creating and providing reports, analysis, and insights into overall marketing communications performance; recommend enhancements to achieve strategic objectives, including driving revenue, contributory income, and engagement with the Y purpose.
Ensures public relations and media involvement that develops and strengthens our image and builds brand awareness, relevance, and reputation among target audiences.
Directs and coordinates the Associations social media platforms to ensure our voice and look is consistent.
Maintains a relevant and up-to-date Y website.
Develops and share YMCA stories that demonstrate cause-driven impact.
Manages outside vendors as needed for the department.
Supports and participates in fundraising initiatives and special events as assigned.
Supports the Chief Development and Marketing Officer in providing emergency and/or crisis communications support as needed.
Ensure Y-USA Brand Compliance and leads brand audits as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 5 years previous professional experience in marketing and communications project management or equivalent responsibilities.
Knowledge of advertising, social media, email marketing, website development, branding and content marketing tactics.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
Creativity, sound judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong analytical, technical, and project management skills.
Demonstrated success in designing and delivering quality materials within targeted timelines and simultaneously managing multiple projects.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
