Technical/Functional Skills:
Sound understanding of Informatica PowerCenter:
Designer
Workflow Manager
Workflow Monitor
Repository Manager
Administrator Console
Sound understanding of SQL Server 2008 data modeling:
Star Schema & Extended Star Schema
ER Studio
HANA and Data
services
Experience Required:
Design and development in Informatica Power Center
Database experience (SQL Server or Oracle or any Database ).
Strong Query language experience. (SQL,Pl/SQL)
Data warehousing experience
Support project experience for Informatica (Must have handled Batch)
Excellent analysis and design, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must
2 E2E Implementations are desirable
Should have good cross module knowledge and familiarity with SAP extractors.
Should be able to work with functional & BI teams to understand and build mappings required for ETL and develop Specifications
Preferable to have worked on Informatica having SAP as source system.
Roles &
Responsibilities:
Support data load batch cycles
Work on support issues and resolve them within the SLA
Work closely with the various functional & BI teams to translate business requirements into optimal solutions
Analyze, Design & development solutions with Informatica tools
Provide technical support to the BI team during the BI development and onward including enhancements, changes & defect resolution
Ensure that data protection policies (i.e. data security) as defined and adhered to
Work with DBAs on tuning of Informatica source queries.
Communicate effectively with end users in a multinational environment
Adherence to client configuration & coding standards
Work with Offshore/Near-shore teams in resolving issues
Handover/Takeover of incidents/Change Requests
Good team playerEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
