Bose 901 Series III Active Equalizer EQ curve right For for sale in Pawtucket, RI
Hi up for auction is a nice looking Bose 901 Series III Active Equalizer. This can also be interchanged with series IV as they share the same curve (in fact it sounds like it would be fine for V or VI too...). You can google this to read up on that for yourself. I got it for a back up but I know I won't need it because my own has been restored. It is very clean w/ flaws seen including little chipped away areas on very lower back - both sides same area. When its sitting on my preamp you don't even see them. It otherwise looks really nice and clean, I'd say better than average. I am a 901 II and IV owner myself. I tested it in place of my series IV eq and it performs beautifully just as mine does on one channel and the other is very faint so this will need caps and it also needs the little red indicator light done too (DHS speaker on ebay does this service beautifully and inexpensively.... I had my own eq serviced by him this way a few years back and it sounds awesome). If you have any questions or would like additional pictures, please feel free to ask. No guess work here, this does power up fine but needs the basic service at DHS speaker and the little red light too. Thanks for looking. Should this not sell quick enough I plan to send it off for the service myself and relist it afterward. You can get it at a good price now though and simply do that yourself. Don't hesitate to make an offer, worst that can happen is I'll probably counter if it seems too low to me.
